About Ami Campbell

Ami Campbell (they/them) is a California Artist. Originally from Oceanside, Campbell spent nearly 10 years in the SF Bay, and currently resides in Humboldt, CA with their partner, fellow artist: Elaine Leon and their two cats, Skitty and Big Mama. Together they run an art collective and Cafe called The Café Artistes which is a mobile art cafe collective in Humboldt, CA.

Campbell explores themes of color, social and environmental sustainability, through their work.

Campbell has 3 years of teaching Elementary and Middle Schoolers Sustainable Art in Oakland, CA. Campbell continues this practice through private lessons inside of their art studio located on 3rd Street in Old Town Eureka.

Campbell also has 7 years of professional art framing, and 3 years of Fine Art Gallery experience through Incline Gallery in SF.

Outside of art, Campbell competes in Historical European Martial Arts, performs sword work through Va Va Voom Burlesque Vixens, and plays drum set in a band called “The Rolling Corgis.”
